Information
Fraud continues to evolve in both scale and sophistication, ranging from organised activity through to more subtle forms of exaggeration within genuine claims.
Advances in technology are enabling new approaches, while economic pressures and changing behaviours are influencing how claims are presented. At the same time, insurers face increasing challenges in identifying, assessing and responding to fraud effectively without impacting the wider customer journey.
This session will focus specifically on how fraud is changing, where current approaches are being tested, and how insurers are adapting their strategies in response.
- How are fraud behaviours shifting across both organised activity and opportunistic claims?
- To what extent is fraud now embedded within otherwise genuine claims?
- How is technology influencing both the execution and detection of fraud?
- What are the limitations of current fraud detection approaches in practice?
- How can insurers respond effectively while maintaining speed and customer experience?
