Information

Whilst other commercial lines might have come under rating pressure, fleet remains firm highlighting continued issues around supply and demand, with less competition and capacity than other product areas.

In this session at The Insurance Post Underwriting Club we will have an honest and open discussion about the state of the fleet and commercial space, and look at the problems that might have led to some players to withdraw, and how those that continue to underwrite business in this space, do so profitably.

Among the subjects we intend to cover are how insurers, MGAs and brokers can work with fleet clients to improve loss ratios, and the role of risk management and technologies such as telematics/real time date in achieving this.
It will seek to assess how important things like rated capacity are in a constricted market; and what appetite there is in burgeoning markets such as mini and EV fleets.
